'I think I like it' - 내 감정,생각 표현할 때 불확실해 보일 수 있음.
친구가 염색했거나 새로운 옷 샀을 때 확실히 좋다고 표현하는게 좋음.
뚜렷하고 명백하게 표현하는게 좋음- I like it. I love it.
20. 유머러스 Humorous [휴머러스] [휴머]
사람 성격에 대해서 묘사할 때는 humorous 보다 funny 라고 더 흔하게 자주 씀.
He's a really humorous actor.
My grandfather always makes humorous jokes.
Do you think humor is important in a relationship?
He's funny. 걔 유머 넘치잖아.
He's hilarious. 걔 웃기잖아. (진짜 웃긴사람)
21. brother [브러덜] [브라더x]
브라더라고 말하면 bra로 오해 할 수도.
Have you met my brother?
22. Vlog [브이로그x] [vlog그대로 . vㄹ로그]
Hey, do you want to be in my vlog?
Have you seen his vlog? It's really good.
I had a bad day. I'm going to vlog about it. 동사로도 사용 가능.
I think that guy over there is a famous vlogger.
23. 체크셔츠 plaid shirt
보통 체크셔츠 만들 때 사용되는 원단 이름이 flannel - flannel shirt라고 할 수도 있음
Do you sell plaid shirts? 체크 셔츠 팔아요? (체크 무늬는 plaid)
Why do you always wear plaid shirts?
She looks pretty good in plaid. 쟤 체크 셔츠 입으니까 어울린다.
I don't like flannel shirts.

24. 'TT'이모티콘
미국사람들에게 생소한 이모티콘.
게다가 소리내서 [티티]라고 하면 큰 오해 생길 수 있음
[티티]는 아기들이 오줌에 대해서 말할 때 쓰는 단어임.
I'm like TT 쉬야하고 싶어요.
I'm screwed man.😭 나 망했어.ㅠㅠ

미국인들은 보통 폰에 있는 이런 기본 이모티콘 사용함.
25. 얼굴 타서 까매졌다. burn/ black 아니고 tan
I got really tan. 마 많이 까매졌어.
My face got really tan over the summer. 여름동안 피부 진짜 까매졌어.
Did I get a tan? 나 좀 탄 것 같아? (명사로 만들어서 표현 하는 것도 가능)
I don't want to get a tan.
I don't want my skin to get any darker. 피부 더 안탔으면 좋겠다.
26. 'I wonder blah blah blah' 문법적으로 문제는 없지만
원어민에게 이렇게 말하면 살짝 어색해질 수도 있음.
상대방이 질문하는건지 혼잣말하는건지 이해 못할 수 있음.
이런 문장은 질문할 때가 아니라 그냥 서로 궁금해 할 때 주로 씀.
ex. 저 시계 가격이 궁금한데 상대방도 모를 때.
I wonder how much that watch costs. 그 시계 가격이 궁금하네.
특히 메일보낼 때 질문형으로 물어보는게 명확함.
I wonder how much you paid for that.
그거 얼마주고 샀는지 궁금합니다. (의도가 불분명)
How much did you pay for that? 그거 얼마주고 샀어요? (의도가 분명)
I wonder if you'll be available. 참여하실 수 있는지 궁금합니다.(의도가 불분명)

27. 유튜브 [Youtoob] / 슈퍼[sooper]
u가 들어있지만 '유'소리가 안나는 영어 단어.
YouTube is an awesome website.

28. 나 한국인이야
I am / I'm 의미는 같지만 느낌이 아주 다름.
I am from Korea. 저.는.한.국.에.서.왔.습.니.다. (로봇용 혹은 강조용)
강조하는 경우 아니면 줄여서 사용.
29. 먹지마
명령조는 무례하게 들릴 수 있으니 권유/부드럽게 말하는게 좋음.
Don't sit there이 아니라
You don't want to sit there. It's dirty. 여기 앉지마세요. 더러워요.
You don't want to eat those donuts. They're really old. 그 도넛 먹지마세요. 진짜 오래됐어요.
You don't wna to eat that. It's really spicy. 그거 먹지마세요. 진짜 매워요.
You don't want to do that. Trust me. 그거 하지마세요. 제 말 믿어요.
You don't want to drive without a license. You could go to jail.
30. 딱 봐도 (딱 느껴진다 - 느낌적인 느낌)
I can tell by just looking at him that he's spoiled.
걔 버릇 나쁜거 딱 봐도 알겠다. (여기서 tell은 알겠다로 이해)
You can tell by just looking at them that they're filthy rich.
걔네 부자인거 딱 봐도 알겠다. (여기서 You는 '너'가 아닌 일반 사람을 말함)
I can tell by just looking at her that she's really smart. 걔 똑똑한거 딱 봐도 알겠다.
