1. a chip on one't shoulder ~에 대해 예민한 반응을 보이다, 쉽게 화를 내다
He's got a chip on his shoulder about not having been to university.
그는 대학을 가지않은 것에 대해 예민하게 반응을 보인다.
She still seems to have a chip on her shoulder about the argument she had
with her friend last week. 그녀는 지난주 친구와 말싸움을 했던 것에 대해 하직 화가 나 있다.
